Silver Charm, with his best friend Gary Stevens aboard, put Bob Baffert on the national map in 1997 when he courageously fought to the wire and won Kentucky Derby 123. Challenged inside the final furlong, Silver Charm displayed the heart and determination that eventually made him a hall of famer.
