For 151 years the day before the Kentucky Derby has featured the Kentucky Oaks. These fillies race for a blanket of Lillies and a spot in the history books. It is obviously not as acclaimed as the Kentucky Derby, however these there-year old fillies are just as magnificent.

Now that we had set the table, who is going to win the 151st running of this magical mile and an eighth?…The 11 horse is Good Cheer and she is the morning line favorite at a strong 6-5. Unbeaten in six career starts, this daughter of Medaglia d’Oro is two for two in 2025 and has been quite impressive. Trained by two-time Oaks winner Brad Cox, she looks to be coming in right and is our top selection.

Every horse player looks for value and a loaded 13 horse field absolutely has that. Who are some live longer shots in the field? Last year’s champion trainer Kenny McPeek sends out the 10, Take Charge Milady (12-1), There-time Kentucky Oaks champ Bob Baffert saddles number 9, Tenma (12-1). If we are looking for a real bomber that can hit the board how about the 12,  Anna’s Promise (30-1).

So there you have your superfecta box (11, 10, 9, 12). Back a horse and get paid!
