DANNY’S DERBY QUIZMO
Of course we all want to know the answer to one of the most burning questions of life. At this juncture, we don’t want to know what would have happened if we hadn’t done that back in high school. And we don’t really care what that smell is coming from Uncle Earl’s car. All we want to know is…who is going to win the Kentucky Derby! Because there are way more questions than answers right now, let’s pose a few interrogatives in regards to our top contenders for Derby 144.
1 Bolt d’Oro- Did his speed and versatility come into the new year with him?
- McKinzie- Can he become the next son of a Derby winner (Street Sense) to take the blanket of Roses?
3 Mourinho-How much speed does he really have and how far can he carry it?
4 Solomini-Is he the most under-rated member of the Bob Baffert three-year olds?
5 Audible- Did the Holy Bull romp give us a glimpse of things to come?
6 Good Magic-Was the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile win just a dangling carrot?
7 Firenze Fire-Can a Florida-bred that preps in New York win the Derby?
8 Instilled Regard- Is choosing the Louisiana path the best way to get him ready?
9 Free Drop Billy- Can this be the guy that leads Dale Romans to the Derby circle?
10 Avery Island- Was his win in the Withers as easily done as it looked?
