Wake Up Nick wins Graduation Stakes

Wake Up Nick rolled out of bed and kept himself unbeaten on July 30 at Del Mar. Making his third career start, this Doug O'Neill trained colt made his way around the seaside oval with ease and covered the 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:04.49. In winning the 63rd running of this race for 2-year old California- breds, Wake Up Nick can now hope to follow in the hoof steps of last year's winner, California Chrome. Chrome may have won the race last year, but there is no way his mane was as unleashed like the rockstar 'do on Wake Up Nick!!!
